Technics SL-1200 MK2 Turntable
Technics SL-1200 MK2 STUDIO
The Technics SL1200 MK2 has been in production since 1979. Turntables were essential to every DJ set back then. Nowadays, a CD is used more often, but for the enthusiast of the authentic sets, the record player has been brought back into production. Thanks to its direct drive motor and quarter precision, it has long proven its worth. This turntable is the go-to tool for many professional DJs and is known for its durability and extreme reliability. Functionality and quality are key at Technics.
Excellent playback quality
The Technics SL-1200 MK2 features a heavy duty rubber bottom construction, shock absorbing feet and a rigid die-cast aluminum housing. As a result, it is always stable, which benefits the playback quality of your music. Since it has no empty cavities and no unnecessary functions, vibrations can be absorbed and also cannot hinder the quality of your music. The engine of the Technics is very strong and therefore also suitable for starting records live on the radio. The same strong motor prevents variations in speed. The weight of the needle can be adjusted from 0 to 2.5 grams.
The functions
The SL-1200 MK2 has a pitch fader that lets you control and match the tempo of different tracks. This fader also has a reset button with which you can quickly reset your pitch to 0%. The MKII doesn't have any features that could be seen as unnecessary luxuries, but it has everything you need to keep your music playing authentically. Of course in the characteristic silver colour.
