Immaculate Wireless Sound concept 

Bang & Olufsen launched the world's first wireless speakers with the WISA standard a few years ago.

Later, Bang & Olufsen launched a WISA-compatible transmitter / receiver sets that make it possible to

connect wirelessly to Bang & Olufsen audio system or TV and large wireless connect; all active speakers.

This allows B & O customers to update existing equipment with new technology and functions. Wireless surround sound is thus a reality for most of Bang & Olufsen's products.

With BeoLab transmitter 1 and BeoLab receiver 1 for Bang & Olufsen customers can transform their active BeoLab speaker into a wireless speaker system. The transmitter is connected to Bang & Olufsen

TV or stereo and the receivers are connected to the room speakers can be placed almost anywhere anywhere in the room.

So it is no longer necessary to run cables throughout the room to add speakers or a subwoofer to its surround system. With Immaculate Wireless Sound, Bang & Olufsen this tradition of acoustic authenticity in the wireless age. The Wisa platform (Wireless Speakers and Audio Association) uses the relatively uncongested 5.2-5.8 GHz band to avoid interference from other signals, and to ensure sufficient bandwidth to stream uncompressed 24-bit audio.

WISA is the first wireless system in the U-NII band that provides multi-channel experiences - up to a full 7.1 surround configuration.

BeoLab transmitter 1 uses the WISA standard to transmit hi-fi sound wirelessly between Bang & Olufsen products.
