A more now rare edition of the Beogram 5500 in white. The transition from where the Beogram 5005 ended with the 'new' Beogram 5500 'turntable is almost identical to its former stable companion.

A beautiful white version was released in time for Bang & Olufsen's 60th Anniversary; this would be the beginning of a new, welcome return of white products in the B&O range.

Beogram 5500 disc tires were replaced by Beogram 6500 about four years after the introduction of the Beogram 5500 vinyl recorders.
