Beogram 4004/4002 are two turntables with identical technical specifications and performance, but Beogram 4004 can be controlled remotely with a remote control when connected to Beomaster 2400. With Beosystem 6000 connected as part of a quadrophonic system.
In terms of concept, performance and technical design, these turntables are well ahead of their time. All functions are controlled by logic circuits. Just press START, that's all. With its unique detector arm placed parallel to the pickup arm, the Beogram 4004 automatically selects the disc size and playing speed 33 rpm / 45 rpm. It also automatically detects the starting point of the disc and lowers the pickup arm.
If there is no disc on the disc, the pickup arm is not lowered through a protection system that is both safe and easy and prevents you from accidentally destroying your pickup by otherwise it would be lowered onto an empty disc without a vinyl disc.
